To me though, "the question is not whether the data is flawed — it undoubtedly is!" , but is the flaw intentional of induced by incompetence. The incompetent should be trained, the intentional should be slapped... into jail.

No individual IQ number and subtest scores by themselves encapsulate one's precise capacity due to error of measurement and other factors, but they can provide generally accurate ranges of strengths and weaknesses for the individual and trends within a population.
